You can get to Miyakejima Island by ferry, plane, or helicopter.

Ferries:
There are several ferry services between Tokyo and Miyakejima Island, Mikurashima Island, and Hachijojima Island each day. These ferries are operated by Tokai Kisen from Tokyo’s Takeshiba Pier (eight minutes on foot from JR Hamamatsu-cho Station). Travel time is approximately six and a half hours.
Flights:
New Central Airservice operations three commuter flights per day from Tokyo’s Chofu Airport (15 minutes from Chofu Station by bus). Flight duration is approximately 50 minutes. Toho Air Service also operates one helicopter flight per day.
